Grand Prix of Cleveland - First week in July - The fifth stop of the 16-race Champ Car World Series takes place at Burke Lakefront Airport. Get revved up for racing stars, parties, autograph signings and activities for the whole family.


International Childrens Games and Cultural Festival - Last week in July - Cleveland is proud to be the host vity of the world's second largest international youth sporting event, held in the U.S. Thousands of International athletes, ages 12-15 from more than 40 countries, will compete in numerous events, including track and field, swimming, basketball, baseball, soccer, gymnastics and tennis throughout Greater Cleveland. Celebrate the native cultures of their countries at the cCultural Festival, taking place on the grounds af the Cleveland Convention Cernter.

Chilli Pepper Festival - Mid August - Feel the real heat of summer with this festival of chilis. Look for chilis to sample, food made with chilis, and a chili sale featuring unique chilis and chili related products.

Cleveland National Air Show - First week in September - All eyes on the skies, with the Cleveland National Air Show. Incoming aircraft, exciting stunts and hyper speed action thrill thousands of onlookers.

Taste of Cleveland - First week in September - Sample food from more than 30 Cleveland are restaurants, plus art and live entertainment.

Antiques in The Woods - Mid September - Over 80 quality antique dealers. Antique tractor and engine show. Classic car show.

World Golf Championships - Mid August - Firestone Country Club will host this champioinship golf event for the 5th time. Come see if the competition can beat Tiger Wods, Invitationals contested at Firestone.

Gravity Games - Mid September - Extreme sports competition returns to Cleveland's North Coast Harbor. Thegames feature more than 200 of the world's best professional action sports athletes competing in Aggresive In-Line Skating, BMX Bike, Freestyle Motocross, Skateboarding, and Wakeboarding events. Meet the athletes, visit the exhibitors village, listen to national music acts perform each day and get in on the action!
